"Woe be to him that reads but one book."
                                     George Herbert, 1651

This is a listing of (mostly technical) book reviews. The review filename is followed by the name of the book and author(s) and a very brief description. (Some versions of this file may also contain listings of software reviews.)

Authors and publishers wishing to have books included should see the address information at the end of the file. For those wishing to use the file as a database, the structure is described at the end of the file. Information on Internet archive sites for the reviews is generally given in the sigblock at the end of the file. This file is accessible as a Web page with full review links at Victoria TeleCommunity Net. (The file is very large, but can be searched online with your browser's search function. For Lynx this is the "/" command.) Also under contruction are the new topical menus (which will likely load faster).

The index file is now in very simple HTML format. Preformat tags enclose the document: these can be removed for formatting of the text. Paragraph tags begin each entry. Tagging is minimized for legibility as a text document.
